Saliva Testing - Diurnal Cortisol

Diurnal cortisol testing  by ZRT lab is a  method for evaluating adrenal cortisol production, involving four saliva collections throughout a single day – morning, noon, evening, and bedtime. Cortisol levels exhibit a natural variation throughout the day, peaking in the morning and gradually declining. The adrenal gland releases cortisol in response to stress, and prolonged elevated cortisol levels may lead to chronic fatigue, weight gain, and various health issues.
